So I find myself reading your post after a very stress-filled Easter morning, a stress which has continued for a number of reasons, where I've been reminded daily of the challenge that it is to live as a follower of Jesus. And I suppose that I've always pictured the first Easter morning as a joyful occasion, so when Easter time is less than joyful, it especially upsets me. Perhaps I've overlooked the fear and confusion that must have been present on that first Easter morning, because I really didn't want to see it or think about it.
