		<description>Thank you. The &quot;vineyard drenched with violence&quot; is apt. Disturbing.  And...keen reading of the parable notices that the violent response TO  the violence in the vineyard, is on the lips
of the audience (entrenched leadership).  Not from the Teller of the parable. Jesus shows another way.  In the midst of violent words/times there is the voice of truth, clarity and honesty.  God in Jesus loves us enough to hold us to account.</description>

		<description>wow - that is a terrific post....and your artwork depicting the vineyard drenched in violence - that is quite moving Jan.  You&#039;ve given me pause - how much violence is in me?  and how can i reclaim larger areas of peace within myself?  

i&#039;ve had Etty&#039;s quote on &quot;destroying in ourselves what we want to destroy in others&quot; in my quote rotation for my blog but haven&#039;t wanted to put it out there.  I think the other quote on &quot;reclaiming and reflecting peace&quot; balances the &quot;destroying&quot; quote very well.  It at least helps me understand that quote much more than i did.</description>
