Jan, I know we've only met a few times, but it has really helped me as I embark on my ministry to listen to you and read your writing and stare at your art. You remind us to stop and listen. As an associate pastor in my first appointment in a large, high-speed, ambitious, downtown church--it is so helpful to have voices out there calling me to slow down and allow myself to experience the places I go and people I meet. Thanks so much for what you do.

I hope it's okay--I actually list your blog on my blogroll at www.reemergentchurch.com. More people should come..., or perhaps I should say, "stop," here!

Thanks again!
