Thank you, Miss P! I’m grateful for your words. Yes—sometimes opening ourselves to knowing brings intense pain—the deeper the knowing, the keener the pain when it comes.

This being human is hard. And graced. I’m so grateful for the grace that comes…

Thank you again. Hope to see you when I’m up that way this summer. Blessings to you…

Hey Miss Jan:

Thanks for continued lovely words, and safe travels to MN.

Gotta say this: those who have broken my heart I find hardest to to be among the vessels of God-seeking-me. Those whom we think we know so well, those whom we have trusted deeply-- choices are sometimes made away from loving. It's sometimes easy to SPEAK of forgiveness or growth from pain, but not nearly so easy--dare I say even LIKELY--to move very fast to that forgiveness and growth being real in my daily life.

There's perhaps the biggest mystery, and the biggest work before me--to see GOD in these losses. To hear the incarnation words above: " I see you. I see you, I know your need."

Something to bring to prayer -- for others, for myself. Hmmmm.

Peace.
